De Gaulle in Pescara, the main city in the region have had an enormous impact by increasing the demand for tourism as an alternative to Tuscany and the tourists are realizing that there may be many more offerings of the traditional Italian and European shores of vacation. The price of property is very low compared to the realities of Tuscany and Umbria, which can be purchased from 35,000 Euro. Abruzzo has an area that offers an infinite variety of landscape and consequently there are many types of properties available. This issue was detailed in a thesis: "The foreign tourists and the real estate market in Abruzzo" (Luca Battaglia d'Annunzio University Faculty of Economics) that can 'give some further indication to the specificities and characteristics of the region as a center for real estate investments.
